The purpose of this blog is twofold:

1) To explore philosophy and theology from an Orthodox Christian point of view, and in particular, show the deep harmony underlying Orthodoxy and Scholasticism.

2) To facilitate inter-faith dialogue between Orthodox Christians and other Christians, as well as with people of other religious traditions.

Keeping these two ends in mind, the articles published here are distributed into the following categories:

{1} On God and the Cosmos: Metaphysics and Natural Theology from an Orthodox perspective

{2} Rosmini Notes: Studies on the epistemology of the Italian philosopher and Catholic priest Bl. Antonio Rosmini-Serbati, and how his theory of knowledge is a defeater of radical skepticism.

{3} Life in the City: Musings on the practice of Virtue in one’s personal life and in the life of the community.

{4} The Orthodox Tradition: Ruminations on the Holy Scriptures and the Tradition of the Orthodox Church.

{5} Common Terms: Exploring new avenues in inter-faith dialogue.
